I’m a senior industrial designer at WMF Group GmbH. One of Germanys leading consumer brands and a company of the Group SEB. Prior to that, I have been working for companies, such as Dräger and Skywalk and as a research fellow at the Fraunhofer Institute for Machine Tools and Forming Technology IWU. In the scope of my work I especially focus on a user-centered design approach as well as the usability of a product, service or interaction.

My work, as well as my studies helped me to acquired essential knowledge in different fields of industrial design – ranging from medical design, to sports equipment and consumer goods. While my focus ist set on the physical product, my design process also includes the graphical user interface and strategy, since a successful design is made up of equal parts of that.

I see myself as a mediator between economical and developmental interests as well as the demands of the users. It is a necessity to me, to create the highest state of satisfaction within all parties. As part of several product development departments I obtained insights into interdisciplinary and user-centered development processes and improved my communication and presentation skills as well as my ability to work independently.

Maybe we will shape products together in the future – products, which are innovative, premium and durable while communicating specific brand-values. Their usability and user experience create a high level of satisfaction and a sensation of high value within the user.
