Design of a walking frame for a younger target group
This Project was my contribution for the GIDE-exhibition (Group of International Design Education) in 2009 in Leeds.
The brief was to design something on the topic of sustainable mobility and resulted in the study of a modern walking frame
with improved functionality. A competitors analysis and a self-experiment helped to define the design guidelines.
The main focus was set on a better chance to overcome small obstacles like curbs and entering public transport
as well as to appeal a younger target group that is dependent on such an aid.
